Jacqueline Sue Britt McGowan

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Jacqueline Sue Britt McGowan, daughter of the late Norman Britt and Mary Watts Greer, was born February 14, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life May 1, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage to Jeffery McGowan November 22, 1969 and together they raised three children. Jackie spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.

She was of the Church of Christ faith and attended Salesville Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Jeffery McGowan of the home; three sons and three daughters-in-law: Jeffery McGowan, Jr and wife Sandra of Calico Rock, Joseph Scott and Cheryl McGowan of Calico Rock and Chad and Tyra McGowan of Norfork; two brothers: Jim Britt and Gene Britt both of Gainesville, Missouri; one sister: Shawn Marie Britt of Berryville; nine grandchildren: Miranda Croney, Ivy, Pearl, Jackson, Nellie, Josie, Kyler, Caleb and Cobey McGowan; one great granddaughter: Shelby Croney and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings: Curtis Britt and Patricia Rossen.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Graveside funeral service will be Sunday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Table Rock Cemetery with Darren Morris officiating.

Pallbearers: Dean Britt, Rocky Britt, Wes Britt, Joe Britt, Mark McGowan, Darren Morris.
