Jacob Raymond Anthony Frey

Of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas

Jacob Raymond Anthony Frey, son of Christopher John Frey and Tammy Fitzgerald Hope, was born July 17, 1989 in Modesto, California.  He departed this life August 7, 2025 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 36.  He was united in marriage to Rachal Slaughter October 3, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas.  Jacob was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. The love he showed to others will forever impact anyone who knew him.  No one would go without anything, if he knew there was a need, even if it meant sacrificing his last dollar or the shoes on his feet.  He believed strongly in togetherness of his family and although we've drifted apart over the years, he never stopped reaching out and showing up.  He had a contagious smile and above all he loved the Lord.

Jacob is survived by his wife of three years:  Rachal Frey of the home; two sons:  Braiden Frey and Braxton Frey both of Kansas City, Kansas; his mother:  Tammy Hope of Hoxie; two brothers:  James Fey and wife Jennifer of Salem, Lil Chris Frey of Hoxie; one sister:  Miranda Parris and husband Chris of Swifton; uncles:  William "Kenny" Frey,  Fred Frey both of Wirth, Gerald Patscheck of Wynne;  aunt:  Doreen Patscheck of Wynne; nieces:  Shayaunna Quillman, Breanna Quillman both of Melbourne, Shelbie Paige Slaughter of Horseshoe Bend, Hannah Frey of El Dorado; nephews:  Dylan Quillman, Jordan Quillman both of Melbourne, Waidlyn Trimmer of Salem,  Deklyn Frey and Jaxton Frey of Salem, Ivan Frey of Michigan, Cooper Frey of Fayetteville and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his father:  Christopher John Frey; his paternal grandmother:  Dorothy Blake and two uncles:  Robert Frey and James Frey.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne with Stanley Jones officiating.
