Jacquelyn “Jackie” Fletcher Buell

of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Fletcher Buell was born October 11, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. She departed this life July 13, 2026 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 86. She was united in marriage to Wendell Buell March 17, 1961 in Novi, Michigan and together they raised four children. Jackie spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Most of her working years were spent in Michigan, working as a waitress. After moving to Mount Pleasant, she worked for ConAgra in Batesville for many years. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a faithful member of Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Jackie is survived by three sons: Wendell “Peanut” and Ruth Buell of Traverse City, Michigan, Mike and Cynthia Buell of New Lisbon, Wisconsin, Paul and Marcia Buell of Heartland, Michigan; one daughter: JoAnn and Eric Brown of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; one brother: Clifford Fletcher of Mount Pleasant; two sisters: Ruth Ann Moody and Doris and Greg Messer all of Mount Pleasant; eight grandchildren: Anna Mae Buell, Josh Buell (Samantha), Holly Buell-Nowakowski (Carson), Brett Buell, Hunter Brown, Merina Buell, Harlee Buell, Gabe Buell; two great grandchildren: Elenora Anagnost-Buell, Tobin Nowakowski; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and two brothers: Ronald Fletcher and Donald Fletcher.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral service will be Friday, July 17 beginning at 12 noon at Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant with Alan Meisner officiating. Burial will follow at Barren Fork Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
