Imogene Ruby Jennings Wayland

Of Mountain Home, Arkansas

Imogene Ruby Jennings Wayland, daughter of the late Roland E. Jennings and Pheobe L. Thompson Jennings, was born March 13, 1926 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life October 13, 2023 in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 97 years and 7 months. She was united in marriage to Lavern Eugene Wayland February 27, 1943 and together they raised three children. Imogene spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She was of the Church of Christ faith and a member of Mountain Home Church of Christ.

Imogene is survived by two children:  Jim Wayland and wife Mitzi of Mountain Home and Judy Roe and husband Philip of Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren:  Tiffany (Jesse) Carroccio, Ryan (Shari) Wayland, Stone Wayland, Andrew (Leslie) Roe, Michael (Saely) Wayland, Melanie Wayland; ten great grandchildren:  Campbell Roe, Presleigh Roe, Brodee Pangle, Timothy, Spresa, Sarah, Samuel Carroccio, Trent Wayland, Gavin Wayland and Lucille Wayland and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son:  David Wayland and seven siblings.

Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineville Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers:  Ryan Wayland, Stone Wayland, Jesse Carroccio, Michael Wayland, Andrew Roe.
