Illa Jean Evans Jones

Of Hardy, Arkansas

Illa Jean Evans Jones, daughter of the late Alva Ray Evans and Barbara Jean French Evans of Hardy, was born November 30, 1958 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. She departed this life August 4, 2020 in Cherokee Village, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 8 months and 5 days. Illa spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was united in marriage to David Lynn Jones February 14, 2004. She enjoyed music, art and spending time with her family.

Illa is survived by her husband of sixteen years: David Lynn Jones of the home; six children: Casey Clouse of Hardy, Magen Clouse (Dale Thomas) of Cherokee Village, Cory Clouse of Hardy, Angel Griggs of Fayetteville, Ashley Jones Mathews (Joshua) of Atlanta, Georgia and LeAllison Jones Boatright (Andrew) of Atlanta Georgia; her mother: Barbara Jean Evans of Hardy; one brother: Danny Evans (Stephanie) of Hardy; two sisters: Aletha Scott (Paul) of Ash Flat and Rheanell Pollard (Nelson) of Springdale; sixteen grandchildren: Payton, Cailey, Timothy, Dakota, Clayton, Alysa, Addison, Aubrey, Anniston, Kale, Taylor, Samantha, Elijah, Tuck, Fisher, Jones; one great granddaughter: Adaline; seven nephews; three nieces; twenty-six great nieces and nephews; five great great grandnieces and grandnephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father: Alva Ray Evans and one brother: Mitchell Ray Evans.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 8 from 3-5 p.m. at the home of David Lynn and Illa Jones, 35 Riverland Road, Hardy, Arkansas 72542.
