Ida Lucille Cross, daughter of the late Eugene and Beatrice Rush Vest, was born May 9, 1945 in Jumbo, Arkansas. She departed this life on October 5, 2021 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Ommel Cross, Jr in 1963 in Melbourne, Arkansas and to this union three children were born. She was formerly of Mtn. Home, Arkansas and during her working years, she was employed by Baxter Laboratories and Champion Boats both of Mtn. Home. She was a member of New Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Ommel Cross, Jr.; two sons: Robert Cross and wife, Kayren of Washington Township, Michigan, Doyle Cross and wife, Missy of Melbourne and one daughter, Barbara Parnell of Batesville; two brothers: Clovis Vest and wife, Elaine; Darrell Vest and wife, Marsha all of Melbourne; ten grandchildren; Bobby Cross and wife, Autumn, Alyssa Parnell, Alexandra Cross, Ashley Kramer and husband, David, Destany Cross, Makayla Gross, Benjamin Cross, Jonathan Cross, Hope Cross and Grace Cross and four great-grandchildren: Cameron Cross, Matthew Kramer, Lilly Howell and Kaylee Kramer. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Eulis Vest.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Combs Cemetery in Melbourne, Arkansas with Don Cross and Wayne Wilson officiants.
Pallbearers are Randy Cross, Rodney Cross, Casey Lloyd Vest, Brian Vest, Richie Hellums and Leon Morehead.
