Henry Dean Brewer

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Henry Dean Brewer, son of the late Ray Brewer and Ruby Sexton Brewer, was born March 15, 1946 in Calico Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life January 14, 2021 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 30 days.  He was a life long resident of Izard County, only leaving for employment.  He went to Washington to harvest fruit.  Later on he worked at Tyson Foods in Fayetteville and also for Washington County in Fayetteville. He was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life, especially cutting wood with his brother Bill.

Henry is survived by one son:  Andy Ray Brewer and wife Lisa of McCory, Arkansas; two brothers:  Billy Ray Brewer and wife Ava of Flippin and Jerry Wayne Brewer of Optimus; one grandson:  Andrew Brewer of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister-in-law:  Linda Brewer of Black Oak; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one son:  Harold Dean Brewer; three siblings:  Roy Gene Brewer, Linda Sneathern and Bernice Simmons.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, January 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Optimus Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
