Helen Marie Sanders Rand

Of Pineville, Arkansas

Helen Marie Sanders Rand, daughter of the late Homer Pat Sanders and Pauline Ellen Stowers Sanders, was born April 20, 1939 in Dolph, Arkansas.  She departed this life February 10, 2023 at her home in Dolph, Arkansas at the age of 83years, 9 months and 21 days.  She was a graduate of Calico Rock High School.  She was united in marriage to Ralph Rand December 4, 1953 and together they raised four children.  Helen spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home, retiring after many years of employment. She worked along side of her husband and children at Rand Rodeo Company.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years:  Ralph Rand of the home; one son:  Tommy Rand and wife Sonia of Mountain Home; one brother:  Orville Sanders and wife Layuna of Dolph; eight grandchildren:  Andy Hale, Sarah Smith, Dusty Wheeler, Cody Stacy, Kendall Rand, Kayla Gardenhire, Kendra Rand and Kevin Rand; numerous great grandchildren; a special friend:  Charlene Dart of Dolph and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters:  Rema Stacey and Judy Hale; one son:  Tony Rand and one brother:  Homer Bill Sanders.

Visitation will be Monday, February 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Dolph Baptist Church with Victor Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Dolph Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Tom Green, J. W. Yates, Eric Sanders, Johnny Elmo, Jessy Smith and Tom Franks.
