Gregory Lynn Sherrell, son of Charles and Bernice Blankenship Sherrell, was born July 12, 1960 in Independence, Missouri.  He departed this life March 6, 2022 at his home in Oxford, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 7 months and 22 days.  Greg spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he work at many different jobs.  He was employed by North Arkansas Electric Cooperative for 13 years.  He was a carpenter, a truck driver and was employed at Boeing Aircraft. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oxford Baptist Church.

Greg is survived by his parents:  Charles and Bernice Sherrell of Oxford; two children:  Melissa Snyder and husband Ryan of Oxford and Jason Sherrell and wife Ashley of Melbourne; two siblings:  Debbie Jennings and husband Joe of Brockwell and David Sherrell and wife Fern of Oxford; seven grandchildren:  Jacey, Garrett, Wyatt, Evan, Tyler, Collin, Braelyn; two great grandchildren:  Elizabeth and Theodora; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughter:  Jessica Sherrell Ballard and his grandparents.

Visitation and funeral service will be Wednesday, March 9 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Oxford Cemetery.
