Geneva Fay Martin

Of Mount Olive, Arkansas

Geneva Fay Hicks Martin, daughter of the late Richard Clay Hicks and Elenor Opal Davis Hicks, was born August 6, 1941 in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  She departed this life January 23, 2024 in Mount Olive, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 17 days.  Geneva spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Most of her working years were spent at Beechcraft Aircraft in Boulder, Colorado.

She is survived by one daughter:  Rhonda Stewart of Dacono, Colorado; four siblings:  Jerry Hicks and wife Mary Beth of Melbourne, Lonnie Hicks and wife Sammie of Marked Tree, Joyce Thompson of Marion and Glena Smith and husband Willie of Florida; two grandchildren:  Robyn Moore and husband Heath of Greeley, Colorado and Michael Fletcher and wife Lauren of Thornton, Colorado; six great grandchildren:  Blake Moore, Kaden Moore, Trent Moore, Aaron Fletcher, Braxton Fletcher and Kinsley Fletcher; a special friend:  Sandra Von Cords of Grand Junction, Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters:  Janet George and Reba Sloan.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Marked Tree with Rev. Shane Hardin officiating.
