Gary Kent Washburn

Of Brockwell, Arkansas

Gary Kent Washburn, son of the late Carlisle Washburn and Velma Jane Lawyer Maxwell, was born September 6, 1957 in Ewing, Missouri.  He departed this life October 11, 2024 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 5 days.  Gary spent his life as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.  Most of his working years were spent in construction.

Gary is survived by one brother:  Barry Craig Washburn of Sparks, Nevada; several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal grandparents:  Fred and Ruth White Lawyer.

Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Oxford Cemetery with Cory Snyder officiating.  Arrangements by Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
