Gary Wayne Vannatter

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Gary Wayne Vannatter, son of the late Michael "Buck" Vannatter and Ader Sexton Vannatter, was born September 21, 1951 in Marked Tree, Arkansas.  He departed this life October 1, 2024 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 73 years and 10 days.  Gary spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent in Florida, working as a lawn care specialist.

He is survived by one daughter: Marcy Vannatter; one brother:  Larry Vannatter of Mountain Home; two sisters: Edna Luster of Norfork, Shirley Tunnicliff and husband Harold of Optimus and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers:  Carl Vannatter, Ira "Tiny" Vannatter, and Troy Vannatter; two sisters:  Wilam Galloway and Dessie Carroll.

The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.
