Gary Michael Rush

of Melbourne, Arkansas

Gary Michael Rush, son of the late Boyce "Mack" Rush and Dolores Stanley Rush, was born May 27, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He departed this life January 2, 2026 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 73.  Mike spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.  He was a lifelong carpenter, craftsman and woodsman. He was united in marriage to Treva Stanley. He attended Oxford Cumberland Presbyterian Church and United Methodist Church..

He is survived by his wife:  Treva Rush of Melbourne; three children:  Mikki Rush of Melbourne, Jan and Chris Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Danny and Mandy Rush of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; three brothers:  Butch and Kathryn Rush of Melbourne, Bo Rush of Culp, Paul Rush of Norfork; two sisters:  Gail Gilliland of Dolph and Debbie Sanders of Melbourne; six grandchildren:  eleven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother:  Terry Rush.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Eddie's Family Funeral Home Friday, January 9.                                         Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Bobby Coleman officiating.  Burial will follow at Combs Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Butch Rush, Bo Rush, Adam Rush, Paul Rush, Danny Rush, Chris Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Bob Rector, Nick Rush, Elijah Rush, Chris Coleman, Matt Coleman, Ryan Rush.
