Obituary

Gary Lynn McIntyre aka MAC was born on November 25, 1957 at Cleveland City
Hospital in Cleveland, MS. to JoAnne Partridge McIntyre and Charles Otis
McIntyre. He passed away in his sleep at his home in Violet Hill, AR. on July 28,
2019, at the age of 61. A memorial service to honor and remember Gary will be
held on Saturday August 10, 2019 at the Church of Faith on 3939 Hwy. 61 in
Cleveland, MS. at 10am.
Gary attended Drew Public Schools and later graduated from Mississippi Delta
Community College with a degree in Electrical Technician and welding. He joined
the Army after high school. Gary Married Donna Pearson on April 12, 1980. They
had 2 children, Jennifer and Cameron. He was a jack of many trades. As a young
man, Gary worked for the Railroad. Later he would go on to work as a mechanic,
construction worker, and finally an electrician. He he been employed by Crawford
Electric in Mountain Home, AR, Scott Electric in Cleveland, MS. and Robinson
Electric before retiring.
Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sunsets and deer, and working on
anything. He loved to read and teach. He would often tell his children and
grandchildren to learn as much as they could because knowledge is something
that nobody can take away from you. He loved his children and grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his grandparents, mother, JoAnne Hagan, father
Charles "Buddy" McIntyre, 2 step fathers, John Ray and Shirley Hagan, a sister,
Teresa Haynes, and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his children, Jennifer McIntyre Brassfield (Randy), Cameron
McIntyre, 3 grandchildren, Brittney Henson, Tyler Henson, and Piper Henson, 2
sisters, Yvonne Hall and Linda Mosley and 1 brother, Ricky McIntyre as well as a
host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers
