Gary Wayne Butler

Gary Wayne Butler, 58, of Williford, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at The Springs of Park Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Gary was born on September 10, 1967, in Richmond, Texas. He was of the Christian faith and worked as a stone mason his whole life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, cooking, listening to The Eagles, and growing up on the Spring River. He loved his family and friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Richard Butler Sr.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Ashley Nicole Sherrell of Melbourne, Arkansas; 2 sons:   Gary Ray Butler of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Michael Wayne Butler of Ash Flat, Arkansas; mother, Irene Butler of Round Rock, Texas; four siblings:  Arlene Ann Reese of Round Rock, Texas, Jerry Richard Butler Jr. of Batesville, Arkansas, Tammy Lynn Russell of Cotter, Arkansas, Catherine Ann Butler of Austin, Texas: twelve grandchildren; one great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at the Williford Cemetery in Williford, Arkansas.

Family and friends are welcome to attend.
