Francisco Javier Lopez, 64, passed from this life after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, May 28th, 2023, at his home in Zion, Arkansas, surrounded by his loved ones.  His life and death are a testament to the power and love of Jesus Christ.  Those, who knew Francisco, will always remember his big smile, clever wit, and gentle spirit.  He was a hard worker, devoted to caring for his family.  Francisco's wife, children, and large extended family were the joy of his life.

Francisco was born on November 15th, 1958 in Maravatio del Encinal, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Angel Lopez and Maria Villagomez-Lopez, who are rejoicing with their son in Heaven as well as his sister Teresa Lopez.

Francisco leaves behind his loving wife of 28 years, Melody Lopez of the home; daughter and husband, Alexandria and Coleman Thompson of Pocahontas; daughter and husband, Rebecca and Jake Smith of Evening Shade; daughter, Lidia Lopez of the home; sister, Rosa Lopez of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Cecilia Lopez of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Carmela Lopez of Fort Worth, Texas;  sister, Juana Lopez of Anniston, Alabama; sister, Gela Lopez of Guanajuato, Mexico; brother, Santiago Lopez of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Guadalupe Lopez of Oxford, Alabama; brother, Manuel Lopez of Anniston, Alabama; over 100 beloved nephews and nieces as well as his first grandchild, Warren Francisco Smith due November 2023.  He will be dearly missed.

Francisco will be interned at Zion Cemetery in Zion, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 31st, 2023 at 10:00am.  A private memorial will be lead by Timothy Stutts and Guadalupe Lopez in celebration of Francisco for family and friends.  Active pallbearers include Manuel Lopez, Guadalupe Lopez, Santiago Lopez, David Chamness, Jonathan Meacham, and Coleman Thompson.
