Fern Marie Hart Fitzpatrick

of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Fern Marie Hart Fitzpatrick, daughter of the late Fred M. Hart and Alma Inez Benbrook Hart, was born December 9, 1933 in Optimus, Arkansas. She departed this life November 22, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 13 days. She was united in marriage to Tom Fitzpatrick December 31, 1964 in Phoenix, Arizona and together they raised four children. She spent her life as loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.

During her working years, she was employed by BEI Electronics as a electronics assembly supervisor. She proudly worked assembling the arm for the NASA Space Shuttle.

Fern is survived by her husband of 53 years: Tom Fitzpatrick of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Debbie Fitzpatrick of Calico Rock; two daughters and one son-in-law: Rose and Jim Williams of Jordan and Onnie Downard of Calico Rock; ten grandchildren: Heather McCurley, David Brewer, Natasha Kearbey, Chris Curtis, Holly Cartes, Brent Brewer, Kirsten Johnston, Mason Campbell, Melissa Summerville and Angela Summerville; numerous great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Judy Sumerville; one brother: Charles Hart and one sister: Vivian Trumble.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
