Everett Ray Jones

Of Mountain Home, Arkansas

Everett Ray Jones, son of the late Arlin Jones and Rita Boatman Jones, was born February 2, 1936 in Wideman, Arkansas.  He departed this life April 29, 2025 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 89.  He was united in marriage to Mary Sue Hutson October 27, 1956 and together they raised two sons.  Everett started his working career at a Chicago, Illinois lock and nut factory.  After moving to Mountain Home, he went to work with Eaton Industries, retiring after 26 years of employment.

Everett is survived by his wife of 68 years:  Mary Sue Jones of the home; two sons:  Randy Jones and wife Sharon of Buford and Mike Jones of Mountain Home; two grandsons:  Jordan Jones and wife Becca of Marshall, Missouri and Justin Jones of Bentonville and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother:  Gene Jones; and two sisters:  Lois Morehead and Marie Yancey.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 2 at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Noel Morehead officiating.  Burial will follow at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
