Ellis Rudolph Geiger

of Sidney, Arkansas

Ellis Rudolph Geiger, son of the late Ellis Rudolph Geiger and Beadie Lee Perry Geiger, was born June 26, 1936 in Canal Point, Florida. He departed this life July 14, 2018 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 82 years and 18 days. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent working as a groundskeeper at Doral County Club in Miami, Florida. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ellis is survived by two daughters: Debbie Wonderly and husband Steve of Merritt Island, Florida and Darlene Alvarez and husband Carlos of Miami, Florida; one brother: Frank Geiger and wife Delberta of Sidney; three sisters: Laverne Van Dorn of Batesville, Frances Nuske and husband Owen of Sidney and Bonita Heitzman of Batesville; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter: Donna Geiger; two grandchildren: Katrina and Christopher; one sister: Mary Sullivan and one infant sister.

No memorial service is planned at this time.
