Eilkina C. Lane

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Eilkina C. Lane, daughter of the late Jan and Kina (Levingka) Hoekveld, was born January 4, 1951 in Arhem Netherlands.  She departed this life February 26, 2024 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 73, 1 month and 22 days.  She was a resident of Pioneer Nursing and Rehab in Melbourne, Arkansas.

Eilkina is survived by two sons:  Nathan Walls and wife Thyda of Lexington, Kentucky and Jarrad Walls of Arizona; one granddaughter:  Isabella Winter Walls of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters:  Alic Hoekveld of Hawaii and Kris Hoekveld of Reno, Nevada.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister:  Johanna Theadora Peterson.

Graveside funeral service will be Thursday, February 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
