Edward Laverne James Jr departed this life on June 29, 2022 at the age of 37 years. The son of Rebecca Anne Ward James and Edward Laverne James Sr. Edward was born on May 15, 1985 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Never a stranger to a good time he spent his life enjoying a range of activities, from making others laugh to attending his children's sporting events. As a member of a large family he was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, and friend. At the time of his passing he was employed at B&B Lumber & Supply in Pineville, Arkansas. He was of the christian faith and attended Melbourne Community Church.

Edward is survived by his four children: Madison and Chelsea James of Tupelo, Mississippi. Jesse and Gracie James of Sheridan, Arkansas. The mother's of his children: Bridget Dunbar (Robert) of Tupelo, Mississippi. Stepmother of his children, Taylor Walker of Sheridan, Arkansas. His mother: Rebecca Anne Ward James of Rison, Arkansas. His father: Edward Laverne James Sr (Elizabeth) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. His grandparents: Herschell and Susan Donaldson of Rison, Arkansas. Two brothers: Michael James of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Matthew James (Jayda) of Hardy, Arkansas. One nephew: Braylon James of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Three nieces: SiddaLeigh Sanders of Sheridan, Arkansas. Hadleigh James of Hardy, Arkansas and Waylynn James of Hardy, Arkansas. Two Uncles: Kenny James (Doris) of West Helena, Arkansas and Tim Ward of Rison, Arkansas. As well as a host of family and many good friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Jessie and Annie Bell James of West Helena, Arkansas.
