Douglas Edward Arnold

Of Zion, Arkansas

Douglas Edward Arnold, son Edward Ray Arnold and the late Kathleen Gaston Arnold, was born June 2, 1961 in Batesville, Arkansas. He departed this life May 31, 2019 at his home in Zion, Arkansas at the age of 57 years, 11 months and 29 days. He was united in marriage to Loretta Gail Rogers July 17, 1979 and together they raised one daughter. Doug spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, provider and friend. He was employed by Izard County as a grader operator, retiring after 20 years of employment. He was of the Baptist faith.

Doug is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Ashley and Lucas Churchman; three grandsons: Dillon, Ryder and Jasper Churchman; his father: Edward Ray Arnold; one brother: Christopher Ray Arnold all of Zion and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, his wife and one daughter: Reagan Arnold.

Visitation and funeral service will be Wednesday, June 5 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery.
