Dorlyn Kay Bookout Dusset

Dorlyn Kay Bookout Dusset, daughter of Eural Lehman Bookout and Bunis Hazel (McCollum) Bookout, was born July 13, 1951 in Batesville, Arkansas.  She departed this life March 10, 2026 in the Bloomingdale suburb of Chicago, Illinois. In 1970, she was united in marriage to Frank Whitchurch and to this union one child was born.  During her working years, she worked for Mastercard, was a manicurist and elder care.  She loved animals.

Kay is survived by one brother:  Roy Bookout; one daughter:  Kimberly Horstman; one grandchild:  Jameson Horstman; one niece:  Melinda Martin; two nephews: James Bookout, John Bookout, Jr.; good friend for over 16 years: Dan Kluth and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers:  Noel Bookout, John Bookout, Sr.; one sister:  Sybil Bookout; one niece:  Connie Crawford.

Her family will be holding a graveside memorial service at Wiseman Cemetery in Wiseman, Arkansas April 18 at 11:00 a.m.
