Donna Charlene Warden McCurley

Of Pineville, Arkansas

Donna Charlene Warden McCurley, daughter of the late Vernon Warden and Ollie Hill Warden, was born September 29, 1944 in Salem, Arkansas.  She departed this life December 9, 2023 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 10 days. Donna spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend.  She was a companion and special friend to Walter Boyd for 25 years, until his death in 2016. Donna and her friend, Linda Horton, spent 38 years operating Pineville Beauty Shop.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Donna is survived by one son:  Steven McCurley of Pineville; one brother and sister-in-law:  David and Judy Kay Warden of Wiseman; her nieces and nephews:  Michael and Chris Love of Rickman, Tennessee, Kathy Robertson of Goddard, Kansas and Joshua and Laurie Warden of Greenbrier and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister:  Phyllis Love.

Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Wiseman Cemetery with Leon Morehead officiating.
