Donna Kay Whited Sanders

Of Dolph, Arkansas

Donna Kay Whited Sanders, daughter of the late Delmar Whited and Dora Mae Williams Whited, was born May 22, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life August 2, 2020 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 11 days. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Dale Sanders March 14, 1964 and together they raised three daughters. Donna spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Calico Rock First Baptist Church.

Donna is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law: Carla and Shane Vredenburg of Dolph and Cindy and Rick Qualls of Evening Shade; one brother: Ron Whited and wife Becky of Liberty, Missouri; one sister: Della McGarrah of Springdale; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter: Stephanie Kay Sanders Avey and one brother: Charles Whited.

Visitation and funeral service will be Tuesday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Wayland Arbor in Dolph, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Dolph Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Phillip Vredenburg, Tony Vredenburg, B.J. Gillaspie, Jimmie Gillaspie, Jacob Cantrell and Chris Draper.

Honorary Pallbearers: Lexi Vredenburg, Miranda Draper, Erica Cantrell, Hannah Qualls and Heath Qualls.
