David Anthony Helm

David Anthony Helm, the only son of the late John Daniel "J.D." Helm and Kathleen Virginia Hickman Helm, was born July 1, 1959 in Chardon, Ohio. He departed his life November 3, 2020 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 2 days. David spent his life as a loving son and friend. He was a 1980 graduate of Oxford High School. After he and his mother moved to Melbourne, David became an assistant at the water department and Melbourne City Hall. He spent twenty-eight years as the Park Director for Melbourne. He was an ambassador for Melbourne. David also was the publisher of the Melbourne News newsletter for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Midway Baptist Church in Melbourne.

David leaves to mourn his passing several cousins and many good friends.

Graveside funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020 at Oxford Cemetery in Oxford, Arkansas under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
