Danny Keith Wortham

Of Sage, Arkansas

Danny Keith Wortham, son of the late Harold Lockwood Wortham and Sarah Parmer Wortham, was born April 3, 1952 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He departed this life January 7, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 68 years, 9 months and 4 days.  Danny spent his life as a loving son, nephew, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. Most of his working years were spent as a cattle farmer.  Danny and his family moved to Melbourne in March 1985.  He loved to talk and visit and rarely ever met a stranger.  He loved his children and especially his grandchildren.  He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law:  Jason and Tammy Wortham of Garfield, Arkansas and Seth and Erin Wortham of Sage; one daughter and son-in-law:  Jessica and Tim Shrable of Violet Hill; two brothers:  Farris Wortham of Jonesboro and Steve Wortham of Melbourne; nine grandchildren:  Madison, Jackson and Grayson Gainey, Paisley, Stran and Magnolia Wortham, Katlyn, Sydney and Sophie Shrable and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation and graveside funeral service will be Sunday, January 10 at Caney Spring Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m.   Graveside funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Randy Bailey officiating.
