Of Melbourne, Arkansas
Dale Wayne Byler, son of the late Jimmy Byler and Patsy Evans Byler, was born June 22, 1954 in Newport, Oregon. He departed this life December 9, 2024 in Evening Shade, Arkansas at the age of 70. Dale spent his life as a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. During his lifetime he worked multiple jobs including General Tire in Batesville for six years, Dowell Transport as an Independent Driver for thirteen years, he operated Byler Farms Rice Hulls Service for eight years and Izard County Road Department for twenty-three years. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Dale is survived by two sisters: Barbara Wilson of Melbourne and Sheila Tate and husband Kevin of Evening Shade; five nieces: Shonte` (David) Thompson of Portland, Oregon, Sasha (Jimmy) Morrow of Melbourne, Courtney Wilson of Melbourne, Heather (Simas) Budreviciai of Vilnius, Lithuania, Jasmine (Robert) Hartgraves of Melbourne; ten great nieces and nephews: Kennedy Grant, Maeson Grant, Alexus Scott, Slayton Wheeler, Zemyna Budreviciute, Mateja Budreviciute, Kiersten Stephan, Sarah Hartgraves, Greyson Hartgraves, Hudson Hartgraves; one great great nephew: Nolan Rush and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmy and Patsy Byler; one sister: Connie Byler and one brother-in-law: Stan Wilson.
Visitation and funeral service will be Friday, December 13 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Kenny Townsley officiating. Burial will follow at Knob Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Doyle Cross, Tony Gill, Tadd Hickerson, Shane Daley, Jessie Morgan, Kelby Gulley.
Honorary Pallbearers: Bud McKelvey, Eric Smith and Lee Arnold.
