Cynthia Marie Mabes Taylor
Of Clarksville, Tennessee
Cynthia Marie Mabes Taylor, daughter of Vickie Porterfield Mabes Burge and the late Billly Wayne Mabes, was born May 9, 1978 in Wenatchee, Washington. She departed this life May 3, 2022 in Clarksville, Tennessee at the age of 43 years, 11 months and 24 days. Cynthia spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. After high school she later attended UACCB to get her RN license and graduated with a 4.0 grade average. Through-out her nursing career, she worked as a Travel Nurse, Director of Nurses as well as in adolescent psychiatric unit. She was loved by her patients and their family for her tender care and outstanding compassion. She worked hard to get on her feet and build her career to make a living for herself. She was a member of Cave City Church of God.
She is survived by two children: Anthony DeLong of Flippin and Victoria DeLong of Fayetteville; her mother and stepfather: Vicki and Max Burge of Cave City; one brother: Jason Wayne Mabes and wife Lisa of Grange; a half-sister: Margie Mabes of Yakima, Washington; one granddaughter: Violet Rogers; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents: Allen and Marie Porterfield and Rufus and Essie Mabes and one sister: Crystal Mabes and her half-brother: Mike Mabes who died with her at in the same accident.
