Cristie Dawn Anderson Marlin, daughter of Jack and Reba Pool Anderson, was born January 9, 1975 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life April 24, 2021 at her home in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 46 years, 3 months and 15 days. She was united in marriage to Kevin Duane Marlin June 3, 1995 and together they raised three children. Cristie spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, homemaker, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Melbourne First Baptist Church. Cristie enjoyed high school basketball, especially watching her 5 & 10 play; but was a big supporter of everyone in her circle.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years: Kevin Marlin of the home; three children: Jaclyn Runyan and husband Stone, Abbi Marlin, and Alli Marlin all of Melbourne; her parents: Jack and Reba Anderson of Pineville; one sister: Cheria McDonald and husband Scott of Mountain Home; her in-laws: Harold and Brenda Marlin of Zion, Lance and Kelly Marlin of Zion, Barry and Jacki Marlin of Perryville; nephews: Ben Lindsey and wife Gracie of Harrison, A. J. Marlin and wife Kaylee of Kaiserslautern, Germany, Cody Marlin of Cave City, Gage Marlin of Jonesboro, Conner Marlin of Perryville; nieces: Meredith Myers and husband Traig of Harrison and Finley Marlin of Perryville; great niece: Maesyn Myers of Harrison and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Russell and Nettie Pool and paternal grandparents: James and Helen Anderson.
Visitation and memorial service will be Wednesday, April 28 at Melbourne First Baptist Church with Rick Burke officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. Memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m.
