Connie Noreen Bookout Crawford

Of Benbrook, Texas

Connie Noreen Bookout Crawford, daughter of Roy Wayne Bookout and Carolyn Paulette Bryam Bookout, was born September 10, 1962 in Kansas City, Kansas.  She departed this life August 30, 2025 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of 62.  She was a proud graduate of Melbourne High School Class of 1980.  She went on to attend Lyon College and graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work.  Connie was employed as a Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Texas. Connie spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was united in marriage to Monty Crawford September 12, 2012 in Melbourne. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Belview Baptist Church.

Connie is survived by her husband of twelve years:  Monty Crawford of Ft. Worth, Texas; two daughters:  Savannah Ashcraft of Cave City, Jacqueline Sisk of Southside; her parents:  Roy and Carolyn Bookout of Newburg; one brother:  James Bookout of San Diego, California; seven grandchildren:  Braxten Sisk, Madison Ashcraft, Mia Rae Sisk, Carter Ashcraft, Meadow Ashcraft, Mason Sisk, Makayla Crawford; special friends:  Penney Smith of Longmont, Colorado, Kim Wann of Mount Pleasant, Rita Decker Stanyan of Olathe, Kansas and LaDonna Brock of Hot Springs and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents:  Lehman and Bunis Hazel Bookout; her maternal grandparents:  Cleo and Iona Neal Byram and her first husband:  Rick Sisk.

Visitation and funeral service will be Monday, September 8 at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Joshua Lobdell and Logan Holiday officiating.  Burial will follow at Wiseman Cemetery.
