Clifford Lee Chism

of Culp, Arkansas

Clifford Lee Chism, son of the late Willie Amel Chism and Flora Acklin Lester Chism, was born May 18, 1952 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He departed this life February 21, 2019 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Donna Kay Robertson September 1, 2000 in Gassville, Arkansas. Clifford spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. At the age of fifteen, he began guiding on the river near Calico. At the time of his death, he was considered to be one of the top river guides on the White and Norfork Rivers. He was of the Non-Denominational faith.

Clifford is survived by his wife of 18 years: Donna Chism of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Jason and Germaine Chism of Norfork; one daughter and son-in-law: Tonya and Roy Kilpatrick of Fayetteville; one brother: Keith Reed Chism and Karen Greeve of Culp; one sister: Barbara Lester Martin of Culp; two grandchildren: Brittany Jenkins and husband Kyle and Austin Howe all of Fayetteville; two great grandchildren: Kylie and Braylee Jenkins of Fayetteville and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Joseph Lester.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Funeral service will be Monday, February 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Table Rock Cemetery.
