Carroll Dean Johnson

Of Mount Pleasant, Arkansas

Carroll Dean Johnson, son of the late Pleas Watson Johnson and Lois Marie Needham Johnson, was born October 20, 1944 in Lafferty, Arkansas.  He departed this life September 17, 2022 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 28 days.  Carroll was a life long resident of Izard County.  He spent his life as a loving son, brother, father, uncle, provider and friend.  During his working years, Carroll worked at Arkansas Lime Company, retiring after thirty plus years of employment.

Carroll is survived by one daughter: Angela Willis and husband Cameron of Batesville; three sisters:  Betty Duncan and husband J. T. of Evening Shade, Sharon Page of Batesville, Pauline Wilson and husband John of Guion and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers:  Darrell Johnson, Phillip Johnson and Benny Johnson.

Visitation will be Monday, September 19 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.  Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Reeves Cemetery.
