Burton Lamb, Jr.

Burton Lamb, Jr., son of the late Burton 'Red" Lamb and Zelma Moser Lamb, was born April 24, 1940 at Hidden Creek, Arkansas. He departed this life October 27, 2018 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Kathy Ann Jennings and together they raised two children. Burton spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, Burton was employed by Boeing Aircraft manufacturing, retiring after 24 years of employment. He was of the Baptist faith.

Burton is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Kris Lamb of Pineville; one daughter and son-in-law: Christal and Bart Turner of Batesville; one brother: Charlie Lamb and wife Ruth of Melbourne; three grandchildren: Kori Smith of Calico Rock, Morgan Lamb of Pineville and Addie Turner of Batesville; one great grandchild: Kelbi Ann Smith and a host of other relatives and many good friends. Burton was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation and funeral service will be Monday, October 29. Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Graveside funeral service will be at Pineville Cemetery beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Toby Davis officiating.
