Boyce Hill Sheffield

Of Melbourne, Arkansas

Boyce Hill Sheffield, son of the late James M. Sheffield and Alleyne Engles Sheffield, was born June 20, 1946 in Batesville, Arkansas.  He departed this life November 23, 2022 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 3 days.  He was united in marriage to Linda Hill March 1, 1969 in Melbourne, Arkansas and together they raised two daughters.  Boyce spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, provider and friend.  Most of his working years were spent at Boeing Aircraft, retiring after 23 years of employment.  Boyce attended Melbourne Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years:  Linda Sheffield of the home; two daughters:  Jocelyn Walker of Calico Rock and Jennifer Wisinger and husband Timmy of Beebe; two sisters:  Nancy Richardson of Melbourne and Glenn Sheffield of Harrison; three grandsons:  Kaleb Walker, Karter Walker and Hunter Wisinger; two nephews:  James Coan of Melbourne and David Carlisle of Florida; two nieces:  Lesa Brown of Harrison and Lori Nelson of Florida and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Barbara Carlisle.

Graveside funeral service with Military Honors will be Sunday, November 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
