Bobby Allen Lynn
of Calico Rock, Arkansas
Bobby Allen Lynn, son of the late Henry Allen Lynn and Vergie Maxine Burgess Lynn, was born October 28, 1945 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. He departed this life September 10, 2018 at his home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 13 days. Bobby proudly served eight years in the United States Army. After his honorable discharge, he enlisted in the Mountain Home National Guard. During Desert Storm, his guard unit was called to serve in Iraq. Bobby was united in marriage to Fredia Nussbaum October 24, 1998 until her death May 10, 2017. Bobby spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, provider and friend. His working years were spent as a Registered Nurse. He was the Director of Nursing at Pine Lane Nursing Home. He retired after twelve years of employment, from Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock where he was Charge Nurse in the Emergency Room and sixth floor. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of Trimble Campground Presbyterian Church in Dolph.
He is survived by a close inner circle of family: a sister: Wilma Kellem (Leon Rosson); two nieces: Melissa Kasinger (Jimmie) and Kathy Kellem all of Mountain Home; other survivors include: two children: David Allen Lynn and Jessica Rodriguez both of Redlands, California; two brothers: Gary Lynn of Mountain Home and Phillip Lynn of Norfork; three sisters: Judy Mooney of West Virginia, Betty McDole and Mary Lynn both of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son Jonathan Lynn and one sister Brenda McDonald.
Visitation and funeral service will be Wednesday, September 12 at Trimble Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Beth Kratochvil officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Spring Creek Cemetery in Calico Rock under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
Pallbearers: Lewis Moody, Larry Beckwith, Ritchey Hanley, Johnny Burgess, Jimmy Burgess, Jim Freeman and Lee Cowgill.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmie Kasinger, Dr. Bethany Knight, Amy Wyatt, Peter Hartman and Jo Jo Beckwith.
