Bobby Gene Killian

Bobby Gene Killian, son of the late Walter Killian and Elsie Arnold Killian, was born May 9, 1939 in Iuka, Arkansas. He departed this life July 12, 2018 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Norma Brown October 9, 1964 in Calico Rock and together they raised two children. Bobby spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, uncle, grandfather, provider and friend. His working years were spent as a truck driver. He attended Pleasant Valley Community Church in Calico Rock.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 53 years: Norma Killian of the home; one son: Marty Killian of Pineville; one daughter: Jeannie Bain and husband Jeffery of Pineville; three grandchildren: Olivia Simpson, James Simpson, III and Andrew Killian all of Pineville; one sister-in-law: Betty Killian of Calico Rock and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: five brothers: Verner Killian, "Dub" Killian, Earl Killian, Lynn Killian and Joe Killian and two sisters: Pearl Killian and Lillian Gentry.

Visitation will be Friday, July 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Cemetery at Wises Chapel.

Honorary Pallbearers: Dennis Gentry, Gary Killian, John Galloway, Roger Ducker, Aaron Ducker and David Fender.
