Beverly Sue Garner Sawyers

Of Pineville, Arkansas

Beverly Sue Garner Sawyers, daughter of the late Bonnie Endicott Cotter and Darrell Cotter of Viola, was born November 25, 1950 in Gainesville, Missouri.  She departed this life February 13, 2023 in Cherokee Village, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 19 days.  Beverly spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend.  Beverly was a licensed cosmetologist.  She was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Dolph, Arkansas where she faithfully played the piano for many years.

Beverly is survived by two sons:  Chris Spurlock and wife Mekka of Cherokee Village and James Spurlock and wife Samantha of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; her father:  Darrell Cotter of Viola; two brothers:  Roger Garner and wife Jaquita of Viola and Doug Cotter of West Plains, Missouri; one sister:  Pat Hall and husband Marlin of Mountain Home; six grandchildren:  Joshua (Carly) Spurlock, Daniel Morrison, Michael Spurlock, Mallory Spurlock, Brooke Woodside, Matthew Spurlock; three great grandchildren:  Charleigh Morrison, Gabriel Woodside and Silas Woodside and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother; two husbands:  John Spurlock and Robert Sawyers.

There will be no funeral service.  She will be interred at Staggs Cemetery.
