Betty Lee Hagan Conklin

Of Cave City, Arkansas

Betty Lee Hagan Conklin, daughter of the late Lloyd Hagan and Florence Thompson Hagan, was born September 30, 1952 in DeRidder, Louisiana.  She departed this life November 14, 2024 at her home in Cave City, Arkansas at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 15 days.  She was united in marriage to John Conklin in 1976 and together they raised two sons and two daughters.  Betty spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years:  John Conklin of the home; two daughters:  Mary Marchbanks and husband Tom of Cave City and Virginia Seawright and husband Brad of Ash Flat; four granddaughters:  Rebecca Glenn (Hunter), Tracy Coddington (Joe), Tiffany Post, and Marcy Steele; nine great grandchildren; one sister-in-law:  Martha Hagan; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers:  Harold Hagan, Donald Ray Hagan, John Hagan, Walter Hagan; two sisters:  DeEllen Goodwin, Delma Hagan Conklin and two sons:  Michael Snell and Carl Conklin.

A memorial service will be held at Wises Chapel Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Monday, November 18 at 11 a.m.

Graveside funeral service will be Monday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Trimble Campground Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
