Bennie Wilson Finley

of Zion, Arkansas

Bennie Wilson Finley, son of the late Willie Finley and Esther Woods Finley, was born June 25, 1947 in Zion, Arkansas. He departed this life April 25, 2019 at his home in Zion, Arkansas at the age of 71 years and 10 months. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle, provider and friend. At the time of his death, he raised chickens and cows. From 1967 to 1990, he owned and operated several service stations in Batesville.

He is survived by one son: David Finley and his companion, Peggy Williams of Ash Flat;; one brother and sister-in-law: Rayburn and Lachrisha Finley of Bonetown; two former wives: Catherine Bounds of Cabot and Penny Finley of Mount Pleasant; three nephews: Tim Finley , Tom Finley both of Bonetown and Brent Finley of Evening shade and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside memorial service will be Wednesday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Finley Creek Cemetery in Zion under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: James Ray Melton, Brian Goff, Tim Finley, Tom Finley, Brent Finley and Dale Finley.
