Barbara Ann Webb
of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas
Barbara Ann Webb, 77, went home to be with our Lord August 14, 2026. She was born October 11, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri to Charles Everett Webb and Loretta Mae Rogers. She was a member of the first graduating class of Highland High School in 1966. During high school, she was the first editor of the school paper and on the committee that created and designed the school mascot. She was always known as a good artist and musician. She had a beautiful singing voice and was once offered an audition with the traveling group, The Presleys, but had to turn it down because she was still in high school. She experienced several professional positions, including SBS Transit in Lorain, Ohio. She was most proud of her 20 plus years of service to others as a nurse, where her caring and compassion for others was able to shine brightly. She loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village. She had a strong loyalty and love for her family and friends. She was always the first to offer a hug and “I love you” with a smile that would light up every room.
She is survived by her son: Brent Huff of Horseshoe Bend; granddaughter: Clarissa Huff of Batesville; soon to arrive great grandson: Noah River; six siblings: Beverly Bowers of Ash Flat, Bonnie Davis of Clarksville, Jimmy Long (Susan) of Evening Shade, Gene Webb of Albert, Kansas, Rick Webb of Springfield, Missouri, Jenna Deckard (Richard) of Cherokee Village; several nephews, nieces and host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her family will be conducting a Celebration of Life service and visitation Saturday, September 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Cherokee Village. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 p.m.
