Ava Lee Teague Brewer peacefully went to be with her Lord and the love of her life, Bill Brewer, February 4, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 84. She maintained her beauty and grace, compassion and sense of humor all of her life. She was thankful for a long life of love, gratitude with her family and friends.
Ava's life work was in service to others. Her 38 years of faithful dedication for the elderly in many nursing homes and home health care. It wasn't just a job to her, they were people, she loved dearly and cried when she lost them. She took her four girls proudly to visit.
Ava was born September 12, 1941 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She spent her young years in her home with her parents, the late Ralph and Cara Mae Teague, and her loving sister Ella White and the late Ernie Teague, her beloved brother.
Ava met and married the love of her life, Billy Ray Brewer, and remained married for 62 years, until his passing. They built a beautiful family together and she raised her children in the Church of Christ at Lone Rock. First baby boy, Billy Ray Brewer, Jr. was stillborn, Vickey and Brett Stratton, Cindy Brewer, Karen and Dale Jones, Mary Beth and Patrick Sinyard. Ava loved spending time with her grandchildren: Joshua Stratton, Alex Judy, Sarah Pendelton, Chris Jones, Colin Judy, Colton Sinyard, Tasha Tiritilli, Taylor Judy, Anna Jones, Issac Jones and Colton Jones. She celebrated the addition of Many great grandchildren. Honoring Tyler Michael Jones she is holding in her arms along with her baby boy.
