Ava Jane Brown Richardson

of Mountain View, Arkansas

Ava Jane Brown Richardson, daughter of the late Leasle Brown and Stella Sutterfield Brown, was born May 26, 1929 in Sylamore, Arkansas. She departed this life January 28, 2019 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 2 days. She was united in marriage to Harold Richardson December 8, 1945. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, homemaker and friend. She was of the Assembly of God faith and an ordained minister. She preached her first sermon January 19, 1958 in Lake City, Arkansas. She was a member of Mountain View Assembly of God.

She is survived by one brother: Paul Brown and wife Mary of Independence, Missouri; one sister: Shirley Pierce and husband Wayne of Melbourne; one sister-in-law: Oma Jean Brown of Cushman; one brother-in-law: Keith Balentine of Fifty-Six; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one infant; two brothers: Earl Brown and Newt Brown; one sister: Oma Jean Balentine.

Funeral service will be Thursday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne with David Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Case Cemetery in Mountain View.

Pallbearers: Brad Taylor, Berl Taylor, Roger Brown, T. J. Sullins, Nic Bray, Rusty Hurtt and Timmy Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers: Gus Cooper, Cash Cooper, Tucker Sullins, Jaxon Sanders, Cason Sanders, Chase McCurley and Jett Bray.
