Arnnie G. "Hutch" Hutchins

Of LaCrosse, Arkansas

Arnnie Gerald "Hutch" Hutchins, son of the late Valentine "Bob" Hutchins and Lydia Fay Harmon Hutchins, was born November 6, 1949 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  He departed this life July 25, 2025 in LaCrosse, Arkansas at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 19 days.  In 1969, Arnnie enlisted in the United States Army.  During his time in the Army, he received a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and other service and campaign medals and commendations.  After receiving an honorable discharge, he returned home.  April 19, 1971, he married Marlene Stroud and together they raised two children.  During his working years Arnnie worked at several different jobs.  He worked as a carpenter, as a prison guard, in telecommunications and was a cattle farmer. He and Marlene owned and operated Hang Ups Frame Shop for many years.

Arnnie is survived by one son:  Jessie Hutchins and wife Felisha of Sandtown; one daughter:  Brandy Hutchins of Cave City; two brothers:  Lonnie Hutchins and wife Bonnie of Violet Hill and Dean Hutchins and wife Lillian of Violet Hill; one sister:  Jody Dale of Bonetown; seven grandchildren:  Chase Hutchins, Haven Hope Hutchins, Bentley Hutchins, Kailey Lyons, Keiton Lyons, Ashley (Andrew) Creekmore, Hailey (Jaegar) Sullins; five great grandchildren: Levi Creekmore, Hannah Creekmore, Willow Hutchins, Nova Henderson; Karsyn Kate Sullins; two sisters-in-law:  Deloris Brown of Sage, Darlene Sartin of Melbourne and a host of other relative and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers-in-law:  Michael Dale, Larry Sartin, John Brown; two sisters-in-law:  Connie Townsend and Jackie Hutchins.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Andrew Creekmore officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Caney Springs Cemetery in Sage.
