April Marie Hansen Ritter

April Marie Hansen Ritter, daughter of the late Carl Hansen and Wanda King Hansen, was born December 2, 1970 in Caldwell, Kansas. She departed this life May 8, 2026 at her home in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas at the age of 55.  She was united in marriage to Carroll Ritter, Sr. April 7, 1993 and together they raised four children.  April spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker and friend. "Grandma April" She wanted a big family! She was thrilled when her children married and begin to have children.  She was a loving, caring and sweet grandma.  She was a vibrant woman who always kept life interesting.  Her spark and loving nature will be missed.  She had a deep love for her grandchildren and wanted to be a big part of their lives even though it was sometimes a struggle to get to be there for them as much as she would have liked. Her family have many great memories of her.

April is survived by her husband of 33 years:  Carroll Ritter, Sr. of the home; four children:  Christopher James Ritter (Hali) of Onia, Cynthia Marie Richie of Pleasant Grove, Carroll Ritter, Jr. (Kya) of Mountain View, Coy Ritter (Kaylee) of Timbo; two brothers:  Raymond Hansen of Winfield, Kansas, Cula Alspach of Arkansas City, Kansas; ten grandchildren:  Terikk Rexton Mitchell, Sawyer Lewis Mitchell, Jasper Mitchell, Eithan Zaine Ritter, Gloria Madalynn Ritter, Paul Lowe, Lilly Lowe, Samuel Lowe, Hunter Ritter, Grayson Waylon Ritter and a host of other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter:  Valori Lynn Ritter.

Graveside funeral service will be Friday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Pordue Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
