Anthony “Tony” Wayne Boren

Of Mooresville, Indiana

Anthony "Tony" Wayne Boren, son of Wayne Boren and Wanda Sue Burns Boren, was born March 11, 1964 in Indianapolis Indiana. He grew up in Mooresville, Indiana and graduated from Mooresville High School in 1982. As a teenager and after graduating high school, Tony worked alongside his dad in the family's well drilling business. Tony attended Ivey Tech Community College for a while where he studied auto body repair to support his hobby and love of working on classic cars and trucks.

Tony continued working in the well drilling business until he earned his commercial driver's license and began working as a driver for FedEx in 1996. After 28 years of accident-free driving, a record he was very proud of, he retired from his career at FedEx. During retirement he enjoyed taking several cruises, traveling both in the US and Europe.

Tony was survived by his dad, Wayne Boren of Wiseman, two aunts, numerous cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Boren.

Graveside memorial service will be Wednesday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Violet Hill Cemetery with Bill Yancey officiating under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home.
