Anna Copeland Haley

of Melbourne, Arkansas

Anna Copeland Haley, daughter of the late James Thomas Jefferson Copeland and Nora Lavada Miller Copeland, was born July 19, 1931 in Allen Reed, Texas. She departed this life June 26, 2018 in Melbourne, Arkansas at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 7 days. Anna spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Most of her working years were spent at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, retiring after 30 years of employment. Before McDonnell Douglas, she worked as a waitress at the L & M Café in Melbourne. She was of the Church of Christ faith and a member of Melbourne Church of Christ.

She is survived by four children: Becky Cooper and husband David of Melbourne, Frank Haley and wife Jenice of Melbourne, Julia Burns of Franklin and Maria Davis and husband Jason of Conway; seven grandchildren: Vanessa Howard and husband Ryan, Josh Cooper, Matt Haley, Justin Burns, Jeremy Burns and wife Sarah, Blair Ables and wife Dakota and Kaylen Ables; two great grandchildren: Rayn Howard and Reed Howard and a host of other relatives and many good friends. Anna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Virgie Copeland.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Melbourne Church of Christ with Chuck Crow and Danny Brightwell officiating. Burial will be at Melbourne Cemetery.
