Ann Bell Hankins Hamby

Ann Bell Hankins Hamby, daughter of the late Tom Hankins and Lottie Smith Hankins, was born August 30, 1937 in Culp, Arkansas. She departed this life April 22, 2018 at her home in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage to William Q. Hamby December 17, 1977. She spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Early in her working career, Ann was a judge's clerk for the Jackson County Court System. Later, she was an apartment complex manager in San Diego, California. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two children: Michael Richardson of Calico Rock and Deborah Kundert of California; two grandchildren: Jamie Alper and Brianna Lee Richardson; two great grandchildren: Nathan James Alper and Cameron Alper and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Jimmy Hankins and Howard Joe Hankins and two sisters: Tommy Faye Davis and Gladys Fern Appleby.

Graveside funeral service will be Friday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Table Rock Cemetery with Dale Ivey officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the ladies who took care of her.
