Almeda Moser Gaston, daughter of the late Orville Moser and Vida Gertrude Rush Moser, was born April 19, 1937 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She departed this life October 18, 2020 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to Rex Gaston and together they raised four children. Almeda spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. After graduating from beauty school, Almeda owned and operated a beauty salon. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mount Pleasant.

Almeda is survived by three children: Sheila Bray and husband Joey of Cabot, Sandra Story of Saint Charles, Illinois and William Gaston and wife Tracy of Batesville; three brothers: Dallas Moser (Shelley) of Missouri, Hank Moser (Faye) of Violet Hill and L. D. Moser (Ann) of Melbourne; one sister: Ann Clavey of Melbourne; eight grandchildren: Jody Bray (Stephanie) of Cabot, Nikki Holder (Kenny) of Conway, Alex Bray of Cabot, Chelsey Jimenez (Juan) of Clayton, North Carolina, Adam Howard of Cushman, Jennifer Lee (Ryan) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Alyssa Anglum of Batesville and Matthew Gaston of Batesville; ten great grandchildren: Lilah, Hudson, Harrison, Paisley, Reed, Sophia, Liliana, Noemi, Avery, Aiden; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son: Rick Gaston; one brother and two sisters.

Memorial service will be Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Interment will follow at Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet Hill, Arkansas.
