Allan B. Rutledge

Of Calico Rock, Arkansas

Allan B. Rutledge of Calico Rock, Arkansas, son of the late Hershal Rutledge and Barbara Kingsland Rutledge, was born November 20, 1952 in Yuma, Arizona.  He departed this life April 8, 2024 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 71.  Allan spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband and uncle.  He was a truck driver by trade.  He oved being a rodeo cowboy.  He was a member of the initial start of the Arkansas Cowboy Association.  He also loved to hunt and fish.

Allan is survived by his wife of 47 years:  Gwen Whiteaker Rutledge of the home; two sisters:  Sherr Cooper and Teri Rutledge both of Colbert, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many great friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
